About

This website is the prefiguration of the website of the future European association of Japanese gardens.

This future association will aim to create a network of Japanese gardens in Europe and more widely of all those concerned or interested in the art of Japanese gardens in Europe. It will be open to owners of Japanese gardens in Europe, whether private or public (open or not to visitors), to local authorities, companies, institutions and foundations, gardeners, designers, landscape companies, academics, training establishments and amateurs.

    Organisation of events or participation in members' organisations (study trips, colloquiums, hosting Japanese or European gardeners, hosting trainees, etc.).

  • Europe/japan relations

    Privileged relations
    with the Japanese authorities in Europe and Japan.

  • Members relations

    Putting members in contact with various institutional partners, universities and European and Japanese companies.

  • Creation and rehabilitation

    To participate in the creation or rehabilitation of Japanese gardens in Europe and in general in any project of development of Japanese gardens in Europe on request of the members.

  • Cultural relations

    To develop cultural, educational and economic relations and exchanges between Japan and Europe. The Japanese Gardens being the "showcase" of Japanese culture in Europe.
